Things He Loved This Month:

• He has been such a ham this month! I love it! He has kept me laughing almost every day this month.
• says "tastes delicious" sounds more like DIRE-EE-L-I-CIOUS when he eats something he likes (pancakes, smoothies, etc)

• his sister- he pets her in the mornings and gives her toys throughout the day
• knows all his colors & some shapes
• talks like a champ. His vocabulary is VERY impressive. He is very easy to understand and speaks in full sentences. We are very often blown away at what he is saying. And when we hang out with other 2 year olds I really notice it. 
• riding his "Handy Manny" & being outside

• playing on the ipad

• had Gender Reveal for baby sister

• had sleep over at GoGo & Papa's while Mom went to Miami
• finally sits down in the bathtub
• sits on his Easter basket and says "go potty!"

• loves to drink smoothies

• still obsessed with monster trucks, trucks (in general), trains & cars
• loves to play in the mud & with Pip

• loves to sit at table "in big boy chair"

• However, he does love his high chair. He is a super slow eater and will sit in his high chair for 30-45 minutes. He plays playdoh, colors, etc. all in his high chair. He asks to get in it often.

• still wants to go to sleep in mommy & daddy bed but then wants to go sleep in his bed with "bear & monkey" 

• only has paci in the car & at naps/bedtime
• says "CHEESE!" when taking pictures yet doesnt look at camera when saying it

• says ARE YOU MOMMY!? in the morning to the monitor and also will hang out in the crib in the morning for sometimes up to 30 minutes talking to himself, rolling around/in and out of sleep, playing with monkey, bear and Scout

• When I go get him from crib in the morning we read his storybook bible and if I forget he tells me "Read Jesus mommy!"

WOOHOO!! I made it 24 months! I am so glad to have done these monthly updates for the 1st 2 years of his life but OOOO----EEEE I am glad to be done. I am hoping now I can just blog about every day life again and not put it off until the month is up and then do a monthly dump. I am already excited thinking about it. I figured I only have a few months of not doing monthly updates before I'll start all over with Baby Girl! And just for fun...here are some more photos from the month of March

Things We Love This Month:

• screams when he gets mad & hits (we are working on that)

• loves "big hugs" & "kisses!!"
• donuts & pizza FAVORITES
• likes to put his shoes on himself

• feed himself & brush his own teeth

• loves watching monster truck videos on IPad (and his pink Monkey that was my Granny's) 

• JoJo Circus is a favorite
• gives paci's to baby (puts them on pile on my tummy)- usually takes them back shortly after but at least thinks about sharing ; )

• loves to be tickled

• Kim & Benjamin came to visit us in new house

• Cousin Korbin was born

• loves to read books & watch Mickey Mouse

• playing with his dump truck in the pile of dirt on lot next to our house

• still loves sleeping with mommy & in mommy & daddys bed

• went to Jacksons birthday party & loves to jump on trampoline

• ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS

• took great naps this month & quite a few on Mommy (LOVE)

• Has to have multiple stories told to him before he goes to sleep at night (not books- made up stories about our day and/or monster trucks in the dirt/water. Ends his day by saying, "Mommy sing" 
• One afternoon he was freaking out sobbing because he didn't want to take a nap and all of a sudden he got real quiet and said, "mama sing" I was so surprised I said,  mama sing??? and he said YES! So I hummed my songs I hum every night and he went to sleep. It was so sweet. I hum, "Lullaby & Goodnight" & "Prince of Egypt River lullaby"

Things we loved this month:

• Went to Bandera for New Years Eve 

• This month we settled into our house for the most part. 

• We did however enjoy a few outings.

Which Which Lunch Date with Mom & GoGo

• Got his haircut

• Park date with Mom & surprise visit by Dad on his way home from work (finally not freezing/raining so we were able to go visit park down the street from our house)

• alot of play time with train table

• lunch dates with Mom (I needed to get out of the house) so we had a lot of Chickfila & Which Which and a lot of runs to Target

• obsessed with play-doh

• loves monster trucks & jumping in his crib

• wore Mommys boots around the house (likes to put on my shoes and walk around as best as he can- Justin told him they were girl shoes and he was a boy so he started saying wear girl shoes!)

• lots of naps in the car

•  snuggles with mommy
