The Word of the Lord for Thought
Proverbs 14
1 The wise woman builds her house,
but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
2 He whose walk is upright fears the LORD,
but he whose ways are devious despises him.
3 A fool's talk brings a rod to his back,
but the lips of the wise protect them.

happiness
This weekend was a blast! Friday Justin ended up getting home so I was super excited- we watched tv and sat around like usual. Saturday we got up and I took Pip on a walk. I am determined to walk walk walk! We have been going 2.3 miles a day! (Well today, Monday, is only my second day but Im proud) When we got home Kimberly called to see if I wanted to lay out..YES!! Hello, Kason & Carla's wedding is in like 4 weeks and I am pale as can be! So I went over there and laid out. I was only out there for an hour and a half and I am a little pink....
Saturday night Justin and I headed to eat on our remaining gift cards from when I was sick. Jason Deli was just right. Justin had a headache so the rest of the night we watched tv as usual and just loved being together.
Sunday morning we got up and made breakfast before heading to church. It was such a good sermon. He was talking about Psalms 23:1 and how we need to be his sheep and there are two things a shepherd does. Protects & Guides. So we have to let him protect and guide us. He also talked about how when you find a good herd (church) let them become your herd...stick together. Summer of 2004 my dad suprised us and took us to the David Project- AMAZING! I still can sing the whole CD! I just spent the past 45 minutes trying to find it on youtube, the internet anything...no luck. I have put mom on research, she is going to try and find it. *Update* found it...here is a link to the songs...Psalms 23...love!

After church I headed to Katy for Carla's Katy Shower. It was a 3 hour drive there and back but it was totally worth it. I wasn't sure on Sunday because my allergies had been so bad but being with two of my sisters-in-law was a perfect way to spend my sunday afternoon. The shower was beautiful and Carla opened presents for hours! The lady sitting next to me at the shower said she probably got enough to furnish two houses, haha, not really! : ) Overall it was a beautiful day with a house full of beautiful people who all love Carla. You could really see how Carla has been such a shining up-right woman for all these woman to love and adore her and Kason so much. I am proud to call her my sister. Carla and I have joked often God knew not only would Kason & Carla be perfect, Justin and I would be perfect but that Carla & I woudld be perfect for each other when dealing with the boys! : ) I cant believe the wedding is less than a month away! It seems like just yesterday that got engaged...crazy its been a year and a half! I can't wait to see Carla as a beautiful bride in just a few short weeks. Here are some of my favorites from yesterday.... (Carlas blog has the rest)

It was a great weekend! Yesterday I was super crabby once I got home and headed to bed but today was wonderful!!

The Joy of Spring
Today my team leader comes in my room and tells me that we need to go the long way to lunch. For those of you who don't know- my school is three seperate main buildings then a library building & a cafe building. (its "character") so anytime we go anywhere we have to face the weather. So anyways, back to my story, she comes in and tells me to go through the office to lunch so we headed the long way to lunch without asking questions. Come to find out..this little guy was the reason why... (see him on the brick?)
that door is the door to my hallway! We go in and out of the door many many times a day. Thankfully though no kiddos saw him and he was gone by after lunch. YUCK! You can't really see how big he was!! SCARY!! I don't know who would have freaked out more...me or the kids! ha! glad we didn't have to see him!

Ahhh-Mazing
For the past couple weeks I have been trying to find some cheap sandals & boots! I remembered this website one of my sorority sisters had given me in college and I had then gone and bought green, pink, purple, white, (all colors) you can think of high heels- however, now I need some cheap shoes that I can wear all the time! Well I could not think of the website for the life of me- so I messaged my friend and she remembered! YEAH!!!
It is www.gojane.com I want these...
And to make it better...only $15 GREAT!! I will be doing some damage this afternoon when school gets out! : ) Their clothes are super cheap as well! PERFECT!

Long Time No See
I have decided that this time of year is just busy and crazy for everyone. My google reader has been down and I haven't blogged near as much! I am through with my observation and finished all my TPRI's! I am so excited. TPRI determines who gets out of school in May and who has to stay till June. I only had 2 kids!! : )I was pretty proud. I still haven't heard about my observation but I think it went well. My kids are still talking about it. I did a lesson on the brain. We talked about the different parts of the brain and when you put your friends down or say something that hurts your feelings your brain "downshifts" and you can't learn as well. Every day now, I hear "J, could you not do that? You are making my brain downshift?" or this one is one of my favorites... "Guys!! Stop talking! You are making Mrs. Knights brain downshift!" : ) Love it!
Yesterday we went on our field trip. We headed to the Children's Museum. It was so much fun. My kids loved it. They had so much fun. After the museum we went to the park and ate lunch and then let the kids run around and play. I'm the smartie though, that left my emergency kit at the museum. It had every kids info for my class and one of the other teachers as well! Also, our personal stuff such as germ x, advil, blood pressure medicine, etc. Thankfully though I called the museum and they have it so I had to go get it after school! I don't know where my brain was!
