Memorial Day Weekend: Monday: Aschers 1st Boat Ride

Monday we decided we would go back out to Lake Conroe to see Justin's parents. His mom had been in Virginia with our new niece and got home Sunday afternoon so Monday morning we headed back to the lake- just a different part from where we were on Saturday. 

Shortly after we got there, Carla, Megan & me went down to the yacht club and I took some maternity pictures for Megan. Here a few of my favorites

After pictures we changed into our swimsuits and all hung out. Gigi cooked a fabulous meal for us. We chowed down and then went back to hanging out. The girls all hung out by the pool while the boys worked on getting the jet skis and boats up and running.

After awhile we decided that Ascher should go on his first ever boat ride! I was so nervous. I broke my back on the back of a jet ski so water things make me nervous. I still LOVE it but I wanted to make sure Justin or Kason drove slow and just enjoyed the water- no funny business. I wanted a family photo before we got on the boat : )

(I was having a panic attack about this- I wanted someone to be holding on to him at all times)

He absolutely loved being on the boat. He talked, and smiled and laughed the whole time. It was the cutest little thing. However, put him in the pool and he panics. Clings to you for dear life. We are going to do Mommy & me swim lessons in July. : ) 

We had a fabulous day out on the lake with family & friends. So thankful they are close by. Before long- it was time to hit the road and come on home. It was a wonderful, fun packed weekend!! We loved every minute!!
