Modern Day Knights: Brynn: Two months old

Weight: 9lbs 14 oz

Clothing size: newborn, 0-3 months

Diaper Size: size 1 pampers swaddlers

Eats: still eating like a champ-- she is a great nurser and is still strictly breast fed. She gets a bottle once a week so she doesn't start refusing bottles.

Sleeping patterns:

She is starting to do the eat, play, sleep routine. She started it on her own and I have just been going with it. She eats for the last time right before we go to bed between 10-11 and then sleeps till about 4-4:30. During the day she eats and by the time my phone alerts me it has been 2 hours since she has eaten she normally is super fussy (which I ate first wondered if it was because she was hungry) however we quickly realized it was because she was fighting sleep. She also fights it real hard from anyone except me. You have to curl her up in your chest, wrap her legs in a blanket, and give her paci with her head facing inwards to my chest and then she will go to sleep. picky little girl already.

Routine:

I posted a photo to instagram this month of a handout they gave me at the doctor. It said...between 6-8 weeks babies may begin to cry more often. Yup. Its like it took her that long to realize she was in the world and could wake up but oh boy when she woke up...did she wake up!!!! She is still go with the flow and has decided at the end of this month she HATES her carseat.

her carseat (unless we are moving or she falls asleep) Ascher will say, "shhh sissy its ok"

Things We Did: Firsts:

Ascher got a virus that was highly contagious so Mom took him for a few days so I could disinfect house and keep Brynn away from it. It was my first time to get to be with just Brynn. It was nice (I sure did miss big brother though). We even went out to eat while Ascher was with my mom.

We went to Kingwood to pick up Ascher and that was your first visit to Kingwood.

first time to the beach club in our neighborhood (let me tell you---this was the bravest I have been since giving birth. what was I thinking taking 2 babies in AUGUST to a SAND FILLED beach/pool!?) It was fun all of 20 minutes.
