13 months 4-29-13
Ascher
13 months old
4-29-13
I am not going to do the same as I have been for the past twelve months...whoa really!? 12 months I did this. That's crazy. Where did the past year go!?! Instead what I have been doing all month is taking little notes on my phone of fun things he is doing and stuff he loves. No one cares what he is eating or how long he is sleeping or any of that junk anymore- hes a toddler now (tears)- granted I may throw it in here and there ; )
*Still wearing a size 4 diaper and 12 month clothes
*weighs around 22 lbs
*goes to sleep at 8 wakes up at 7
*two teeth *top tooth came through so he now has 1 top and 1 bottom
*stops in tracks when music comes on and dances (cutest thing ever)
*brings books to me all day long He doesn't want to actually read most of them, just bring them to me. He will sit and flip through the pages for ever
*likes the concept of opening and closing things- especially my legs- sometimes I'll open and then he will walk in between my legs and I yell CLOSE and close him up in them- he thinks its hilarious
*high fives when he does something good and you say "Good Job- High Five!"
* obsessed with pushing his little mower around- so proud of himself
*still loves Bubble Guppies (I put him in high chair with his breakfast, turn on BG and go get dressed some mornings- he is so content with his Cheerios, Apple Juice & BG!)
*sits at the back door and jumps up and down until we go outside to swing
*carries clothes around on the hangers (I think he likes the hanger the most but the clothes are an added bonus)
*Says Mama, Dada (his favorite), Ball, Pip, and sometimes Bottle. He talks all the time but most of the time I can't understand a word of it. haha
*points at everything- even when he is sleeping he will have his pointer finger extended like he's preaching!
*loves to try and climb stairs
*got his first virus- it was bad. All last week he was sick with vomiting and diarrhea. He would just snuggle in my lap all day. It was rough. I hate watching little baby throw up. Oh it was the worst!!
*still naps two times a day
He is on the mend now and we are happy campers again- other than the other bottom tooth & the other top tooth making their way but I can handle teeth- throw up breaks my heart. I can't believe he is 13 months old. I love my little buddy with my whole heart. I pray every day he grows up to be a man of the Lord!
Woohoo for Toddlers!! : )

Easter Sunday
The weekend of Ascher's birthday party was also Easter weekend. After the party was over & Ascher woke up we bathed the babies. (Their first bath together- sweet cousins)
It turned into a long night when Justin realized why our house was not cooling off...the pipes had frozen. UGH! miserable. It really wasn't that bad but Justin was all worried since we had company. He got up in the attic until well after 1 am banging on the iced over pipes to try and unfreeze them. The rest of us went to sleep. Poor Justin.
We went to the 9:30 service at church and then came home to take pictures & eat lunch, and give babies Easter baskets. Easter is such a special holiday and we had been watching the Bible series and had really prepared our hearts to really meditate on what Easter really is all about.
Ascher was only a week old last Easter so we didnt go to church or see any of our family. We stayed at home as our little family of three. We did take this sweet photo.
So crazy to see him this year next to his Easter basket. He was super excited about his presents.
Hadley was excited about her presents too...maybe Jessica was more excited. Hadley is only 5 months old.
We tried to take photos of the four of us...Ascher was over it.
He was more concerned with playing with his new truck Grammy & Grandpa got him for his birthday
Before Easter baskets we took pictures outside
