Someone Must Know!!!

I can't upload anymore pictures because it says my quota is full.

HELP! How do I make it let me have more space?!?! I have had this problem before but I don't know how I fixed it.

I have seen peoples blog that has lots of pictures....granted I have been blogging since 2007 but HOW!? HELP!? Someone must know....

Dip

Oh do I have so much to fill all of you in on (anniversary, cruise, Egypt, etc)!! Maybe later tonight...but for now this AH-MAZING dip my cousin, Elissa introduced me too over the fourth. She says they found it on the back of the packet but it is soo good so I HAVE to share!!

Ingredients:
1 Sour Cream-Light
1 Spicy Ranch Packet (dry)
cheese to taste

Tortilla Chips

Mix all together and dip into chips. SO GOOD! Plus, I personally love cream cheese and salsa so this is a much better alternative! Try it and let me know what you think!

Girls Weekend

The end of June we had a WONDERFUL girls weekend on Lake Travis! It was GREAT! It was just what we all needed. I posted a video from the weekend a while back but decided I would write a little tid bit about our weekend.

We left Saturday morning and arrived to this view...
We immediately changed into our suits and hit the pool for the remainder of the day!
After our day at the pool we headed to Oasis- the prettiest sunsets in Texas for dinner. The food was okay but the view was AMAZING!
After dinner we headed back to the resort and got some smores...so good
We then decided we are not the young college kids we were just a year ago- we ate smores and went back to our rooms, turned on the tv and all got in bed. We were all passed out by 10:30!

Sunday morning we got up and headed to Cafe Magnolia before heading home. It was such a fun weekend! I love my friends!!

Temporary...

Today a good man left his temporary home...

Colleen & Pamela's grandpa left this world this afternoon. This man was the man who even I called grandpa and was a second father to those girls. There is something about grandparents that just tugs at your heart. Please be in prayers for their family as they go through this tough time.

I went to Target on advice from my sister-in-law and bought this...
It is 18m and no I am not pregnant. but how could I resist? It has my name on it! Our little boy or girl will look so cute in this one day...

Little Girl is turning 2!

After Cole’s birthday we drove North about twenty minutes to Avery’s 2^nd birthday party. (Avery is my real niece). Once again moms and decorating for their child's birthday parties, it looked great. We had hot dogs and mac and cheese with cupcakes and homemade flower rice krispies treats. An uncle's love for his niece...preciousAnd of course...the hubby and I. We had a wonderful Sunday full of love and birthdays!! We headed home and went to sleep almost immediately! It was a fun long day!! I was so happy it worked out that J had last weekend off so he got to go to both parties!!!

Coles 3rd Bucanneer Bash

Last Sunday J and I headed to Houston to celebrate my "might as well be nephews" third birthday. It seems like just yesterday I met his mommy and was rocking this sweet little 6 month old to sleep...now he is THREE!!! Pamela & Colleen did great decorating and being creative with decor. Cole seemed to have a blast running around with his pirate garb on with a fake sword and bird on his shoulder. : ) Here are some pictures from the party...How cute is that? When we left Cole had changed into his swimsuit and was swimming away like a little fish. I think he had a great birthday and is cute as can be!!

Quick Vent

UGHHHH I am sooo annoyed. It is the middle of July and I still don't know what grade I am teaching next year. I try not to think about it but today I went to walmart and spent $27 and got FIFTY FIVE school supplies (crayons, markers, pencils, glue, etc) and so now I am in the mood for school...however I DONT KNOW WHAT GRADE I WILL BE TEACHING!!

Don't get me wrong I am SOOOO THANKFUL I have a job but I think it is getting a little late in the summer for a lot of the staff to not know where they will be next year.


I am in the waiting. God is teaching me patience.

tomorrow perhaps...after bible study, getting my tires rotated, buying school supplies @ Walmart because they are amazingly cheap & I have a small obsession with school supplies esp. notebooks & new crayons and markers, target to buy some cute PJ's for the future, cleaning out my closet of clothes I've had since high school, making a necklace holder (any suggestions?), getting Pip & myself haircuts before the cruise and his stay with grandma & grandpa....etc. : )

One of my friends also has a photography business and she is great and has really taken off.

This next weekend we are going to photograph our first wedding!!!

Surprise!!

Justin had to leave on Sunday morning to go back to the job so I headed to Kingwood to surprise my parents. I called them when I turned onto the street and was just talking normal...ya know, what are yall doing today? what are yall gonna have for lunch? guess I should go make me some lunch, etc. totally throwing them off. Then I walked up the door and rang the doorbell. They both were soooo surprised! Love it!!

Dad grilled burgers for lunch while mom and I made cookies and fruit dip.

After lunch we headed to Toy Story 3. It was cute. Such memories of all the other toy stories made it good. After the movie we went home and mom and I made cupcakes and homemade frosting to take Downtown to Elissa's apt where we were going to watch fireworks.
It was a lot of fun and I am soo glad I went home and surprised my parents and got to see Elissa at the same time!!

Toes is 3!!!

My little niece turned 3 on July 3rd. It is soo weird to think she is THREE!! Justin and I started dating when Taylor was pregnant with Ella...now she is three! SO crazy!!Justin was able to get off on Saturday so we both went over to the Cokers and had a lovely butterflies, flower & fairies party. Taylor is so good. Everything looked super cute and she is so creative!!Happy Birthday Little Girl!!!

P.S. It is a little scary watching these two together...like father like son

Knightly Celebration

Friday before the 4th Justin and I headed down to Houston to join the rest of the family for a "knightly celebration" at Kason & Carlas. (my sibling-in-laws) I had been to their house the day after their wedding to pick up Kasons tux but hadn't been there since everything was unpacked and painted. They painted everything and it looks sooo good. When they moved in, they just had white walls- now they are a pretty creme color. LOVE IT!

It was raining so it didn't feel like the fourth of July celebration but that didn't stop us from eating "fourth of July food" and playing games. I love it! : )

When Mr. & Mrs. Knight & the Hameedi's went to Paris they brought us back dresses. Carla & I decided that the fourth was a perfect opportunity for us to wear them. Here we all are...This is Taylor, Me, Carla & Ragan (all my sisters-in-law minus one who lives to far away : ( )Carla & I matching

Show Us Your Life

MY 500th POST!!! AHHH can you believe it!? CRAZY!!!


Today I want to participate in Show Us Your Life. I have never done it before but it sounds and seems sun. Today's Show Us Your Life is "Your Favorite Bible Verse" However, I can not pick just ONE. But I will choose my favorite one lately...well my favorite two lately. These two verses I have leaned on the past year and continue to get me through life.

1. As you know J is gone ALOT. He works as a engineer for a oil company and has to be on the road all the time. This verse is what I tell him each and every time he leaves...

"May the LORD keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other." Genesis 31:49

2. This past year (end of January) I had a close call with death. I was very very ill and we weren't sure I was going to make it. And this verse came to me as I was lying in ICU alone on Saturday night... (Saturday night is the night I pulled through...glory to God). You can read the whole story on my mom's blog HERE.

God's word is so precious and we should be daily intertwined in his word so we can live better as he intended us to be.

Starstruck

One of my very best friends is an AMAZING cook! She would always make us the yummiest things when we were in college. She recently entered The Duncan Hines Red Carpet Cupcake Challenge and I would LOVE LOVE if yall went over and voted and tried out her amazing recipe! She is GREAT!!
