Pip's 1st Birthday

Pip's first birthday is on Saturday but since I wont be in Kingwood I celebrated today. I know, I know he is a dog. But I wanted to give him something special. I went and got him a new bed, a new toy, and some wet dog food (he LOVES LOVES wet dog food). I never get him wet dog food because I refuse to spend 75 cents on something he devours in 20 seconds, but for his birthday I made a small exception. I put a candle in his wet dog food and we all three sang Happy Birthday to him! : )Happy Birthday Little Boy!

Then

Ragan showed me this song. I didnt watch American Idol last night because of Lost so I missed it but I have spent quite awhile looking for this song and I found it. It is perfect....

No Turning Back

Today was a very busy day. We got up this morning and finished addressing Save the Dates. We are only missing about 15 address out of both our lists. Here are some pictures of us stamping the envelopes and getting the wedding really started!! Once those went out, there is no turning back! So check your mail in the next few days!! (Jessica has been absolutely amazing- she addressed all 150!) Once we were done with the post office we went to Sam's to see if they still had Apothecary jars, but no such luck. So we traveled to Dillard's to register for some sliver, china, etc. So check our the registry- this was our free gift we got for registering with them. It is a really nice Lenox, Bulter's Pantry tray. I was excited. Then I wanted to register for this A&M chip and dip thing but it was on clearance so you couldn't- so I just went ahead and got it for me and Justin- it was over half off and I have always wanted one but they always are so expensive but with being on sale, I figured with living in CS and with all the games this upcoming season and with a new husband who loves football and chips and dip what better than an Aggie chip and dip bowl!? : )

Come Play with Me!

Sissy is here!!
and I have already put her to work.
Spring Break is here!!
oh the list I have to do....

Jessica got here and we all went and had dinner. It was the first time it was just the four of us in so long! Mom loved it. We had been done eating for quite some time but Mom didn't want to leave because she was basking in her children...

Anyways, we got home and started wedding stuff. This week is full of wedding to do's. Really its tedious things, so if any of you want to come over to Kingwood for a day or a few days let me know because the more the merrier (FOR REAL!) Tonight we are addressing Save the Date's. Jessica is doing that because I am waiting for mom to finish watching Friday Night Lights so she can take one last look at the invite list for our side to see if it is all ok.

So for real...if anyone wants to come and play let me know! Jessica is only here till Sunday then I will need a side-kick for the rest of the week so anyone who wants to play let me know!

Monday we are having brunch with the ladies hosting the teacher shower at 11, then meeting with the florist at 12:30.

Such a Good Weekend

Friday was a rather big day for me. I have never flown by myself and I was nervous, but I was so excited I was going to see Justin I didn't really have time to be nervous. I got on the plane and not too long after it was in the air (45 minutes) they told us we were landing in Corpus! I could hardly wait to get off the plane. I am sure people thought I was crazy because I was walking through the terminal with such a big smile on my face! I hadn't seen Justin in a month!! Saturday we all got up and headed to the beach...Spring Break was all set up but it doesn't actually start until next week. So it was nice because the beach wasn't super crowded and nasty. This picture is rather funny. I went away from the group and drew a heart in the sand and wrote a J K L and bent over to take a picture of it. However, the group didn't know that is what I was doing and when I came back, they all were staring at me. I walked up and they were all like, What are studying sand?? I laughed and told them what I did, Justin told me I was gay! : ) I liked it. This picture is of Justin and Nick (Nick lives across the hall from Justin) Every time I talk to Justin he is with Nick either studying or goofing off. I liked Nick- he was a good guy. (If you cant tell, Justin likes him too because I don't even get that big of a smile out of him!) We spent the day at the beach and then headed home to shower and get ready for the night. I was freezing so I went and got in the hot tub before showering. By the time we were ready to go to dinner, both Justin and I were napping on the couch. Apparently the sun wore us out. We went to eat, came home and both passed out on the couch. Everyone kept telling us we really are like an old married couple because while everyone was ready to go out, Justin and I were sound asleep! : )

Today we got up, went and eat and drove home. (Notice a pattern with Justin and I...eat, sleep, repeat) We got home in time for me to see J's apartment and meet his roommate before we were back in the car on our way to the airport. He dropped me off and this time I wasn't so excited. I was leaving him once again...I seriously CAN NOT wait until the day we can stop saying goodbye.

P.S. I got my mid-point evalutation from my supervisor. Almost all 4's, only five or six 3's (out of like 75)...Mom says this is pretty impressive and that not many Student Teachers would get that good of an evalution : ) Or as Mrs. Nation- she claims that NO ONE EVER gets 4 only 2's....ha!
