What I want to See and Read

Todays blog is going to be rather boring. But I have had a pretty boring relaxing day so far. I have made a list of movies and books I want to see and read and they are as follows.

Movies I want to see:
Meet the Robinsons
Georgia rule
Santa Claus 2 and 3
3rd Pirates of the Caribbean
The invisible
Last holiday
Land of women
Catch and release
The Nanny Diaries
The waitress
August Rush
Enchanted
American Gangster
This Christmas
Fred Claus
Because I said so

Books I want to read:
The faraday girls
The writing on the wall
How to be Lost
learning to breath
the memory keepers daughter

Chelsea is cooking dinner tonight and I have already cleaned, done my homework, sat around, did laundry. I just dont know what to do with myself. I guess I could read...maybe take a nap. Oh the life of a college kid = )

Time Flies

I cant believe that it is already almost DECEMBER! where has this semester gone? I feel like I just moved into my beautiful home which is now lived in and loved. looking back on this semester, i would say this is my favorite out of all my now almost 3 years of college. i love my friends, my family and everyone else in my life. I have done well in school and for once i know what it feels like to be happy and content with my classes and to WANT to go to class and learn. its crazy = )

Thanksgiving came and went so quickly. I went home on Wednesday and spent time with my family. My grandparents were there and its so nice to see them. Growing up I dreaded spending time with them sometimes because they were so "old and boring". Now i look at them and see what wisdom and love they have for their children and grandchildren. i love my grandparents. my grandpa is 94 years old and is finally starting to act his age. He always has wanted to go for a walk or play tennis but time will wear its toll and he is finally becoming old, but is happy and content with the wonderful life that God has allowed for him to be blessed with. Thanksgiving just wasn't the same though without Jessica. Jessica and Roy spent thanksgiving with Roys family and she said they had a good time. Its so weird to look at Wedding pictures and see how quickly time has flown. I feel like just yesterday Roy was proposing and now it has almost been a year since he proposed! CRAZY how time flies!

We went and saw the ritual cartoon movie of thanksgiving (The Bee Movie-hilarious) and that also wasn't the same without Jessica. It was cold and i had to wear my heavy jacket which i had forgot i even owned but when we got to the movie theater i put my hands in my pockets and pulled out a ticket stub. I almost started crying looking at it. it was a ticket stub from the A&M vs Tech game of 2004. The game i decided to be an Aggie. I can hardly believe that was my senior year of high school and it is about to be my senior year of COLLEGE! its so hard to believe how fast time flies. I love A&M and could not be happier any where else.

Life is good and I am blessed.

This could be addicting.

I could kill Regan for showing me this. I have always tired to do Blogs in the past but have never found one I like. This one might just be it. I always feel so corny writing down everything and in the past I always felt like I was just writing down what I had done that day. But now I feel I have matured and will only blog what is important to me.

I have almost finished my second week of school and I am loving being an Education major. I feel like I enjoy going to class and the girls (since there are no boys in education) that are in my classes. I feel like I have taken a leadership role in my classes and have really stepped up to the plate this semester. I definitely feel that I am on my way to my golden 4.0. Speaking of 4.0, I am concerned that when I get it (because I am going too) people will just say that its because I am an education major. and i know that will upset me. I am working just as hard as the next person and perhaps I will receive my 4.0 because I am good at what I do. I don't mean to be cocky but I will be an excellent teacher some day and the people who will say anything about my classes not being as hard as theirs- well I would like to see them get up and teach 22 1st graders, half of which don't speak English. Alright, I'm done with that I guess. Sorry, just needed to vent.

This past weekend was the first home football game. It was so much fun. We had a full house. Justin, Chris, Regan, Brad, Kason and Carla, plus Rudder and Remy (the dogs) all stayed at our house. We may have had a full house but it was so much fun. I would love to have that much company anytime. Next time I must remember to go to the grocery store in advanced. I'm not used to having boys around. = )

I still want a puppy more than anything. WE went to the puppy store this weekend and they have mini wiener dogs for sale. I wanted one so badly! Having a brown/black little dog would make me the happiest girl in the world. I don't know why but the thought of "Spud" (that will be its name once he becomes mine) consumes my thoughts. One day I will have a puppy. I keep hoping that maybe me showing my parents that I can get a 4.0 will change their minds and perhaps soften their hearts to a cute little 4 legged friend. = )

I just wanted to end with the fact that I am so blessed. I believe that living in America is a blessing beyond belief which is taken for granted a lot of the time. I must say to take the time out and look around at what you have been blessed with might really change your attitude about life. I am so happy and love my life and friends. God could not have blessed me more. I guess I should get started on some studying...one more class and then the weekend begins...

love always-

boo
