Math Sucks!
If necessity is the mother of invention
Then I'd like to kill the guy who invented this
The numbers come together in some kind of 3rd dimension
A regular algebraic bliss.
Let's start with something simple
Like one and one ain't three
And two plus two will never get you five
There's fractions in my subtraction
And X don't equal Y
But my homework is bound to multiply
Math sucks (math sucks)Math sucks (math sucks)
I'd like to burn this textbook, I hate this stuff so much!
Math sucks (math sucks)Math sucks (math sucks)
Sometimes I think that I don't know that much--But math sucks!
I got so bored with my homework
I turned on the T.V.
The beauty contest winners were all smiling through their teeth
They asked the new Miss America "Hey babe, can you add up all those bucks?"
She looked puzzled then just said, "Math Sucks!"
Math sucks (math sucks)Math sucks (math sucks)
You don't even have to spell it, all you have to do is yell it
Math sucks (math sucks)Math sucks (math sucks)
Sometimes I think that I don't know that much--But math sucks!
Geometry, trigonometry, and if that don't tax your brain
There are numbers to big to be named (too big to be named)
Numerical precision is a science with a mission
And I think it's gonna drive me insane
Parents fighting with their children and the Congress can't agree,
Teachers and their students are all jousting constantly
Management and labor keep rattling old sabers,
Quacking like those Peabody ducks
Math sucks (quack quack)Math sucks (quack quack)
You don't even have to spell it, all you have to do is yell it!
Math sucks (math sucks)Math sucks (math sucks)
Sometimes I think that I don't know that much--But math sucks!
Math sucks, math sucks, math sucks the big one
Math sucks, math sucks, math sucks the big one

Pip!

9 hours
After class I came home and ran some errands and after three different bookstores finally was able to find the book I needed for my other class. It was the only one they had and it was brand new. Normally I would be excited because that means no highlighing (my favorite thing) but I was not happy because I was already informed that this would be the last time they would use this book. Hopefully it will be a good book and I wont feel that horrible for spending $85 on a skinny paperback. After errands I read some of my favorite book and decided to take a nap. After waking up and realizing the day was basically over I decided to be semi-productive. I mowed the front yard and did some laundry.
Pip has been with me for the past two days. Since Chelsea is gone I feel safer with an animal with me. Granted Pip weighs less than three pounds and isnt much of a guard dog but I still feel safer when he is here. He is doing very good at becoming potty trained and only has had a few accidents. He is a fast learner and loves his mommy : )

I love "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. It is by far my favorite book. I read it three years ago and decided that I would read it again. I cant put it down. I just love it. Jodi Picoult has an amazing way with words. As I read I have been high lighting and underlining some of my favorite quotes- which I will share with you since I have nothing else to do besides shower. : )
"God was obviously in some kind of mood on my birthday"
"We've been too busy looking over our shoulders to run headlong into growing up"
"Black Holes are so heavy they absorb everything, even light, right into their center. Moments like this are the same kind of vacuum; no matter what you cling to, you wind up being sucked in."
"Normal, in our house, is like a blanket too short for bed- sometimes it covers you just fine, and others times it leaves you cold and shaking; and worst of all, you never know which of the two it's going to be."
"My daughter, who trusts me to tell her when it's safe to cross the street, to cut her meat into tiny pieces, and to protect her from all sorts of horrible things like large dogs and darkness and loud firecrackers, stares at me with great expectation."
"Her voice, its so full of the future"
"I learn from my own daughter, you dont have to be awake to cry"
Shower time. Love you all.

FINISHED!!
Obviously mine will say '09, not '81NINE DAYS UNTIL DISNEY WORLD:
I can hardly wait. For those of you who don't know, Jordan's father is kind enough to fly and lodge me, Megan, Kimberly, Cheslea and of course Jordan to Disney World for Jordan's birthday! We are leaving on the 15th and coming home on the 21st. We plan on going to Epcot, Universal, Magic Kingdom and one other park. We also plan to have a few days of relaxing at the pool of our hotel. We are staying at the Hard Rock of Orlando for a few nights then the Buena Vista Palace rest of the time. I am sooo excited. Mr. Pace is amazing! : )

EIGHTEEN DAYS UNTIL WEDDING:
After I get home from Disney on the 21st I will have three days before Colleen and Jame's Wedding. My bridesmaid dress came in but it is in Moulton so the girls (Colleen & Pamela) are going to get it while I am gone. Her wedding is on the 24th of May and I am so excited for that as well. This is my first wedding to be in besides my sisters. I am also reading the scripture for the ceremony which is exciting!
Our Dresses
TWO-HUNDRED & TWENTY-THREE DAYS UNTIL STUDENT TEACHING:
I have also begun a countdown to how many days until my student teaching will begin. I look forward to actually having my own classroom (kinda) and actually starting to teach. And I mean, hopefully I will finally be able to be in the same town as Justin which also makes me very happy.
