My First Golfing Adventure

Friday after school, I got home to see Justin and Daniel sitting on the couch telling me they were super bored but it was such a BEAUTIFUL DAY- we decided there was still time to go to the golf range. We had a lot of fun for $7!! There maybe many more pretty days at the golf range...and who knows...maybe I will be get better as time progresses.

Pigskin

Pigskin is a Baylor tradition that the top 8 acts from Sing perform on Homecoming weekend. I was lucky enough to get to see Carla's senior year performance. As I watched her shine on the stage I realized how much Carla does for all of us...always coming here for everything and yet no one had ever gone to see anything she does so it was really special for me to get to see how amazing she is! She is so modest about what she does at Baylor- she was awesome! I just can't get over what a top dog she was!! She sang the MAIN solo- for those of you that don't know what Pigskin or Sing is...imagine Rudder Auditorium FULL SOLD OUT for three shows and my sister-in-law SINGING A SOLO for the Lord only knows how many people!! She was such a pro up there performing! I am sooo proud of you Carla. I am so blessed for you to be in my life. You are such a blessing! I love you sister...we may not be blood but you are my sister!
P.S. I don't know how I will handle you being gone for a month in Australia!! Hurry Home!

Unconditional Love

There is something about a loving family that is indescribable. This weekend I traveled to Waco to see Carla in Pigskin and to see my family. Saturday morning I got up and went and dropped Pip off at the borders then headed off to Waco. Dad, Jessica & Roy went to the Baylor Homecoming Football game so I met mom while they were at the game. Mom and I went to eat at Cricket's and then went shopping at Spice. Jess, Roy & Dad met us at Spice and we finished up shopping. Mom and Dad headed to the hotel to check in while we went to campus to take pictures, see the bears, walk around campus before meeting mom, dad, Erin, Jonathon, and Kaylee at Rudy's for dinner. It was so much fun. We ate then sat around and talked...there is just something about being with your family that makes it special regardless of what you are doing...ie eating bbq : ) After Rudy's we went to Katies (Jessica's favorite custard place) before heading to Pigskin! Katies isn't as good as Shakes but it was pretty good! : )

Justin is gone again. Story of my life lately. : ( I was on my way home from work and was listening to my CD and this song came on and being that I miss my hubby and that he is the best thing in the world and makes me a better person this song reminded me of him. I like to read it instead of knowing the music or the artist- just read the words.

Today we have been married 96 days. I could not be happier...well maybe if he didn't leave me for 10 days at a time! : ) I love you Justin Trice!!

Surprise Present!!

So after last night's concert we spent the night at Lissa's, then this morning I got up and drove to Kingwood for the day to get Pippers and say Hello! Mom made a yummy yummy lunch for us, we went through all my winter sweaters, loaded up another car load of my stuff, and looked at wedding pictures! I got on the road shortly after three and when I got home Justin had got me a very exciting present! My car doesn't have keyless entry and my keys sometimes get stuck when its cold and I am always embarrassed because it looks like I am trying to break into my own car but when I got home Justin had gotten me....KEYLESS ENTRY!!! He spent quite awhile outside working on installing it but he can't find some of the wires so he is going to wait and get Kason to help him, I am just so excited!! Thank you baby! xoxoxoxo

NeedtoBreathe= Breath Taking

Saturday morning I got up and packed up and headed to Houston to spend the day with Lissa and then go to the NeedtoBreathe concert. They are AMAZING! I was supposed to have training in Houston on Friday night and Saturday all day but it was canceled so I was able to actually hang out with elissa. We went to Target and got hair dye and both of us dyed our hair! I had to get rid of my highlights! My roots were sooo bad! We had fun doing that together! And of course Sprinkles, her puppy wasn't far from us the whole time!

This is a video of Washed by the Water live. Oh I just love them! They are labeled "Alternative" but most of their songs have a christian influence. They have a few on KSBJ but then also one of their songs was in P.S. I love you--- the movie! Anyways, loved them! I want to buy all their albums now! : )
